These agencies are working together to provide this rare opportunity to view nesting bald eagles in the wild. Throughout the nesting season (October 1 through May 15), we will provide video camera updates. Barring any technical difficulties, visitors to this web page will be able to view the life cycle of eaglets, from their birth to fledgling. The City of Cape Coral has eight eagle nests in the city. Several of these nests are located in residential areas near canals or larger lakes. Lee County, Florida has about 50 eagle nesting sites scattered throughout the area.
